Privacy Policy
Overview
Sam is designed to keep financial information under the user's control. Core application data is stored locally on the user's device.
Local data
Financial planning data is stored on-device using Apple platform storage and data-protection mechanisms.
iCloud backup
If enabled, Sam can back up application data to the user's own private iCloud account. A separate Sam cloud account is not required.
Device authentication
Optional Face ID or device authentication is handled by iOS. Sam does not receive or store biometric information.
Notifications
Optional reminders are scheduled locally on-device.
FinanceKit
FinanceKit and Apple Wallet transaction matching are planned features and are not currently available. Any future implementation will follow Apple entitlement and privacy requirements.
